“When developing apps for children, it is necessary to understand who pays and for what. If the app doesn‘t bring any benefit or fun to children, then it doesn’t matter which brand it is based on there will be no income, there will only be downloads”

– Timofey Ra, Director of Indigo Kids, winner of the ReadersPrize @ FORBES startup competition
Key Projects:

Masha and the Bear: Kids Games: In collaboration with popular brands, we’ve developed games that not only entertain but also educate, leveraging familiar characters to enhance the learning experience.

Our Approach:
  • Age-Appropriate Content: Understanding that children at different developmental stages have unique needs, we design games with varying levels of difficulty to cater to specific age groups.

  • Educational Value: Our games are crafted to enhance learning, focusing on skills such as counting, reading, and problem-solving, ensuring that playtime is both fun and informative.

  • Engaging Narratives: We create captivating stories and characters that resonate with children, keeping them engaged and eager to explore more.

"Our own children pushed us to create the project in 2012. When you see how much they care about iPads, the best way out is to help them choose the right apps. We wanted them to develop and learn by playing games, which is why we joined gamedev.

Timofey Ra founded the company by organizing a training center in which groups of children played children's educational applications from other developers, and the company's employees studied those that the children liked the most. We also began to develop a methodology that could be used to teach young children how to apply the knowledge gained while playing on a tablet in reality.

It was difficult to attract investments at the initial stage of development, first it was necessary to prove its capacity in the market. We were encouraged to enter the App Store and Google Play more actively by the Forbes Audience Award for our startup. Our first development was the Indigo Kids Planet project, a series of educational applications that allow children to explore the environment, learn about history and perform creative tasks, as well as enjoy playing games.

Then we had the idea to make games based on popular children's brands. We have been working with the Masha and the Bear brand for a year now and have released two projects that do not leave the top of Google Play. (These are the games "Masha and the Bear: Games for children" and "Masha the Doctor: Games about animals"). Did you know that more than 30 million people worldwide are already playing the game Masha and the Bear, published by Indigo Kids? Masha and the Bear: New Adventure, from Apps Ministry, was recently launched in November 2016, meeting worldwide access.

The Jam Day app also received worldwide attention, with more than 1 million downloads of the mobile game to date. Jam Day is especially popular among parents, with App Store reviews showing that 30 percent of users are children and 70 percent of users are adults who also enjoy the game.
